Land and Property Development

KADI Cooperative engages in buying of prime pieces of land/properties in urban and Peri - urban areas of Kenya for various purposes;-

  • Malls and commercials developments - KADI cooperative got a robust plan of venturing into commercial properties like malls and shopping set ups in ideal places of the Kenyan first growing cities. Collectively with support of financial and other development partners together with the technocrats KADI shall shortly be putting down in black and white a rigorous plan on how to execute this great initiative. The surplus proceeds of this investment shall in turn earn income/dividends to the KADI members.
  • Apartments and residential properties – KADI is intending to put up residential apartments and rental houses in busy cities like Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret and Nakuru. This apartments shall be developed by KADI together with its reputable developments partners. The properties shall in turn be sold to members on favorable/friendly terms. This will be a mortgage concept payment whereby members can undertake the payment for a long span of time which makes it manageable to the members.
  • KADI Retirement villagers/Gated community – Since majority of KADI members are Kenyans living in Australia, New Zealand and the entire diaspora at large. Often many people will opt to live overseas during their young and productive ages, but going towards retirement they will want to relocate back to Kenya to have a restful life and enjoy the fruits of their toil. That’s the reason KADI is intending to put up gated community KADI villages in various localities of Kenya of members choice. This villages shall be high end suburbs of Australian standard with all the amenities and facilities the members in the diaspora are used to. i.e. Spacious housing, perimeter walls, security system, good feeder roads, recreational facilities like parks, swimming pool, gyms, playing grounds. Private medical facilities, a shopping Centre and kindergarten school. This is an all-inclusive home set up that someone from overseas can comfortably retire and enjoy life. This is a project that shall be establish shortly to allow members to have a long time payment period for their individual units in the retirement villages. Also this project is handy if it is completed many years before a member decide to relocate, since once its complete the owner may decide to rent it and earn an income for the time they have not relocated. Also in case a member changes mind during retirement they are free to sell their units which will in turn earn them significant profits since land and property appreciates so quickly. So this is both a retirement endeavor and at the same time a very good investment.
  • Speculative purposes - land in Kenya appreciates so quickly, instead of letting the money to stay in the account for long, the cooperative buys land and other economically strategic properties.
  • Subdivision objective - Later, this land will be subdivided and sold to members and/or public payable in a certain period with a calculated profit for the Cooperative.
